About me

Through portraiture and photography, my work explores the connection between people, objects and their environment. The process of my portraiture begins with digitally photographing the subject and is then fully explored through acrylics on board. Portraiture has been a great focus within my work for many years, I enjoy the exploration of the face, I feel I discover a great deal about someone after I have painted or drawn them. I can detect and perceive the intricate details of a persons face that makes them who they are, details I perhaps would not have noticed before.
